Chaos, Confidence & Certainty

Image
It’s important to keep learning and stay connected with your Buyu (martial friends). Some of them (like Jack) are a little ahead of you, others others you mentor. Often times you lead in some things, follow in others. Respecting and learning from everyone. As Jack likes to say, “ This is an infinite journey, so we are all in the same distance from the finish line… Keep going.” Confidence, Competence & Chaos Confidence is based on who you are right now. It usually comes from  competence . Confidence  is knowing what to do… Or at least belief that you can accomplish the challenge. But what happens when life punches you in the face? What happens when you don’t know what to do? This could be in the moment of conflict… Or it could be in your business… In your  relationships… With your  purpose ? You lose your confidence and begin to drift through life. That's where certainty comes in. Certainty comes from  deep inside you … It comes through you from a high...

There'll Be Days...

Image
You know how it goes. Some days you wake up feeling like you could conquer the world… Other days you feel like the world’s sitting on your chest and won't budge. That’s life, my friend. There’ll be days when everything falls into place. Days when you’re on top of your game, checking off your to-do list like a boss, and the coffee tastes just right  (or in my case a cafe’ meil). Ah, sweet victory. But then… there’ll be  those  days. You know the ones I’m talking about. When you spill that perfect coffee all over your white shirt, running late, and the Wi-Fi decides it needs a day off too  (at the most inconvenient moment of course). It’s like the universe is just throwing everything at you, hoping you'll wave a white flag. Here’s the thing: those off-days? They’re part of the process. You can't appreciate the wins without a few hilarious (in hindsight) stumbles. Keep moving, because even on the worst days, you’re still making progress. A bad day doesn’t mean a ...

A Day to Take Advantage Of

Image
Imagine… It’s one of those perfect fall days—crisp air, golden leaves, and just the right amount of sunshine. You could easily let it slip by, thinking,  “I’ll enjoy it later,”  only to find yourself in a downpour tomorrow. You never know when those sunny days will come, or how long they’ll last, so take advantage of them when they’re there. When it comes to your training it’s no different. Whether it's learning self-defense or preparing for anything challenging, you can’t wait until the clouds roll in to start. The right moment is like that perfect autumn day—you seize it while the sun's still out, or you risk getting caught in the rain unprepared. And Then… Winter’s Comin’!! Make sure you’re prepared before the snow starts flying! Don’t Wait! Just like taking advantage of an opportunity to enjoy a nice fall day, here’s an opportunity for you to j oin us on our Free Private Network - PeaceWalker Connect and g et access to free training resources and community. Under the Iron Dome

The Middle East is a hot mess! Even more so right now… And things are ramping up! Israel is under attack from several fronts: Hamas in Gaza Hezbollah in Lebanon Houthi in Yemen Iran A tough neighborhood! The pic above is a screen shot from an Israeli friend of mine’s Missile Warning App. It was taken earlier today. Everyone of those red pins is a missile strike. Luckily most of those missiles have been intercepted and shot out of sky before reaching their target. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people who are in the middle of this conflict. I hope the war ends soon. Are You Fighting a Multi Front War Too?! Israel is fighting enemies on multiple fronts. Are you too!? This is not meant to minimize the conflict over there, its simply an analogy on how we too often fight multi-front wars in our own lives. You lose your job, your dog dies & your wife leaves you. Your truck breaks down and so does your water heater. Your kid needs braces, your roof is leaking and your boss wants yo...
