What’s YOUR Operating System?
My computer took a dive the other day. =( It started making some weird noises (the fan I think). So, I got another one (a bit of a newer model… I use a Surface Pro tablet). I got the new one delivered today (Thx Amazon)… And now I’m getting that one all figured out. A little bit of a pain, but not horrible. I got it in a nick of time too. My old one is still working, but the noise is getting worse and worse. I’ll try to get it in to get fixed… If it is worth fixing. |
The Old & New |
New computer, new operating system aren’t just about your computer! Is the operating system you’re using to navigate Life working for you?! Last week I got the opportunity to work with a local church security team helping them install a new operating system when it comes to managing conflict. We worked on mainly the approach with verbal de-escalation skills. Simple stuff, until it comes apart under stress. Sometimes you don’t realize you don’t really have a plan until you really take a look at it. I enjoyed helping those guys install a better operating system when it comes to dealing with conflict. Remember there is no real personal protection without personal development. I love seeing those aha moments when people start “getting it.” If what you are doing isn’t working, then, it’s time to change what you do! Get a new operating system! |
